I love it and want to go here again. I see the radio button won't allow me to pick both "Love It" and "Wanna Go To". What about adding a new option like "Wanna Go Again"?

Weeeeeeeeeeee i love their chicken jhal fry....dis is our common place for addafying :D
We lived just beside the first 'Star Hotel' at BCC Road. I had been very fond of their 'Faluda' in my childhood. Very distinctive taste and flavour - could identify with closed eyes. I started with it at 8/10 taka each plate (cup, actually). Last time I had it at 40 taka. I don't know how much it is now but whatever the price, the taste is really priceless. I still don't find any match to their great Faluda.
Interesting FACT: The founder of STAR HOTEL is named 'Momotaz', actually a very hard working man grew out from grass roots around Thatari Bazar and Nawbabpur Road. This man has all the restaurants and bakeries in town labelled STAR and SUPER STAR with brass name plates.

He is now aged enough but he proved we could have our own McDonald's which could be wowfully popular :) star became our local cuisine representative. Though now it mostly sucks ;) but many still love it.

My one feedback will be if you can do something similar to "Check-In" of Yelp and Facebook. Here in San Francisco Bay Area whenever I go to a new restaurant, shop or anything that interests me I simply do a "Check-In" so that I can refer back to it later when I need as well as to share my experience of that place in my blog.
I understand that Google Maps won't go that far in Dhaka. But you don't have to automatically detect the location of the user. Simply keep a textbox where users can write a comment during Check-In that 'I am near Dhanmondi 7 right now accross the bridge and found this beautiful Zilapi shop in the second floor' etc.

i guess you have also checked out our new service http://isp.welltreat.us we have plan to bring more review services like this. ie. shopping mall, books, servicing shop, car parts shop, park, market, etc.. which requires in our daily life. so at certain point something similar to foursquare would be in your hand held with more well treat us data :). so standing on bashundara city's ground floor. you could check out "where you can buy the best jeans" something like this :)

hmmm....i visited there too many times...specially i have fallen love with their "Kachi Biriyani" and "Borhani" too much....The others are good also...but i feel too good but i cant say it is favorite place truely....But i love this restaurant also like others....this is a good place for deshi foods... that is why i visit there....all the best....:)

Having almost same experience as yours honey ;) but in my case, i'm feeling like i ate something my stomach doesn't like to bare with ;) i think they r better off with plain polawo and chicken curry ;) anyway! enough is enough honey ;) can'...t go to star (http://bit.ly/9i5IwV) anymore let's go some other place excluding "Kori gosto" (http://bit.ly/c2ouHe) as they have lotta hygiene complain (ie, cleaning up plates in ass cleaning place ;)) let's figua out where else we could be having our dinner r lunch at ;) http://restaurant.welltreat.us/

I have been there so many times. One of the best places in Dhaka for having breakfast, particularly at this price! For breakfast, I recommend mixed veg, kaliza bhuna, rumali ruti and of course, their special tea :)
I think it's the best place for students. There leg roast & kachi is yamm yamm...
ya, i really love their food, specially those yammy yammy! chicken jhaal fry with shick kebab and nan :) simply WOWsome! :)_) i don't know if any of you already followed, their tea used to be the best, now it's has been degrading a lot.
anyway i love to go there to have breakfast during my weekends! i guess every people already tried out star, those who didn't they just didn't discover the excellence in deshi cultural food!
